Au total, ce sont plus de 4000 ménages, environ une trentaine de sociétés et plusieurs\r\ncentaines d’emplois qui dépendent à différents degrés des services écosystémiques des récifs coralliens et\r\nécosystèmes associés de Wallis-et-Futuna. \r\nPrès de 4M€ sont visibles en termes de flux financiers annuels pour l’économie du territoire (via les valeurs\r\najoutées des services du tourisme et de la pêche liés aux RCEA) tandis que d’autres services, comme la \r\nprotection contre les inondations côtières et la séquestration du carbone, ne sont pas comptabilisés dans les statistiques économiques.   \r\nLes principaux services en termes économiques sont la protection contre les inondations côtières (12M€/an), le\r\nservice de production de biomasse (pour la pêche commerciale et d’autoconsommation pour 2,8M€/an) suivi du service de production d’attributs pour le tourisme « bleu » (1,5M€/an).
